FAQ

Frequently asked.

Quick answers to the most common questions from card sellers — coverage, cost, security, and what the AI does (and doesn't do) for you.

What counts as a scan?

One credit = one card put through the AI vision identifier. You can re-edit, re-price, and re-list that card unlimited times after — no extra cost.

Do credits really roll over?

Yes. Unused credits stay in your account as long as your subscription is active. No monthly reset. Switch plans or pause anytime — the credits stay.

What's the difference between billing periods?

Same plan, same credits — just different cadence. 3-month saves ~9 % vs paying monthly; yearly saves ~17 %. Switch anytime in account settings.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — cancel via Account → Manage subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, then revert to Free. Existing credits stay.

Do I bring my own eBay account?

Yes. Your eBay account is yours — we just create listings on it for you via the official eBay Sell API. We never see your eBay password.

What if a scan is wrong?

Click the card on your dashboard to manually override anything the AI got wrong — name, number, rarity, condition. Then publish normally. No extra credit charged for manual edits.

Do you take a cut of my sales?

No. You keep 100 % of what eBay pays out (minus eBay's own seller fees, which they charge you directly). Our pricing is flat-rate monthly — no commission, no per-listing cut.

Do you handle shipping or returns?

No. We create the listings; everything after the sale — packaging, shipping labels, buyer messages, returns, refunds — happens inside your eBay account exactly like any other eBay sale.

Is this a consignment service?

No. Your cards never leave your hands. We don't take possession, sell on your behalf, or take a percentage. It's a tool that makes eBay listings faster — you stay the seller.

Does it publish to eBay automatically?

No. Every listing waits for your review and a Publish click. The AI does the heavy lifting (identification, pricing, description); nothing goes live until you approve it.

Is my eBay account secure?

Yes. We connect via eBay's official OAuth — you grant access on eBay's own login page, and we never see your password. Disconnect anytime from Settings → API credentials.

How accurate is the AI?

Reliable on clean scans of common cards across our supported TCGs. Glare, foreign-language printings, and rare alt-art variants are the trouble cases. Every listing waits for your review before going live so you can catch and fix anything the AI misidentified.

Do I need a special scanner?

No. A phone photo works. A flatbed scanner gives noticeably better results — we use an Epson ES-400 II for high-volume work, but you can start with what you already have.

Can I use it just for inventory tracking?

Yes. Scan cards, save them, never publish — totally fine. Many sellers build out their inventory database first, then publish in batches when they're ready.

Why is one of my cards "flagged"?

The eBay-based price and the catalog market price disagreed a lot, so we paused it for your review instead of auto-pricing. Check the card, adjust if needed, and saving the price clears the flag. Full guide →

What do the confidence scores mean?

Each AI match scores 0–1: 0.8+ is usually right, 0.5–0.8 is worth a double-check, and below 0.5 means review carefully. It never blocks you — just verify against the physical card. Full guide →

Where does the suggested price come from?

A blend of recent eBay sold prices and current eBay active listings, anchored to the catalog market price. You can override it on any card. Full guide →

Why can't I publish / I'm out of credits?

The free plan is scan-only; publishing needs a paid plan with a monthly allowance. Upgrade from the Plans page, and check setup is complete on API credentials. Full guide →

eBay says to reconnect — what do I do?

eBay access tokens expire. Disconnect and reconnect eBay on the API credentials page — it takes a few seconds and re-mints a fresh token. Full guide →

Raw card vs graded — how do I enter condition?

Raw cards: pick a condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, …). Graded slabs: enter the PSA grade and we fill the cert number + grader on the listing. Full guide →

How do I set up the desktop scanner?

Grab your relay key on the API credentials page, install the relay app, and point it at the folder your scanner saves to — new scans upload automatically. Full guide →
